Roché Buckle

Roché Buckle is Head of Culture at Parklands College Preparatory Faculty in Cape Town, South Africa, where she teaches Drama to students from Grade 000- Grade 6 and co-ordinates all Music, Art, Dance and Drama performances and presentations. Roché is passionate about Project and Inquiry-Based Learning and integrates Drama into cross-curricular projects for every grade.
Roché is a Google for Education Certified Trainer and Innovator, having attended the Google Innovator Academy in New York City in October 2019, and is constantly updating her knowledge of the use of technology to enhance productions. In 2023, she attended the Google Champions Symposium in Dublin.

Roché is passionate about training young performers to vocalise their ideas, thoughts, feelings and discoveries confidently, with excellent communication and presentation skills. She understands the need for diversity as well as appealing to a new, growing theatrical audience. She is committed to the arts and is motivated to keep theatre alive. Roché is positive that this can be achieved by inspiring, guiding and motivating our future performers, entrepreneurs and innovators.
