Joseph Gabriel “Gab” Educado is currently a Public Elementary School Teacher III of the Department of Education (DepEd) - Division of Silay City, a Division Teacher-Broadcaster for both Radio- and TV-Based Instructions, a part-time college instructor teaching Professional Education subjects to pre-service teachers, and has served for almost 4 years as a former Teacher to the Indigenous People (TIP) to the Sibato Bukidnon - a small IP community in the mountains of Silay City, Negros Occidental.
As a passionate advocate for inclusive education and the professional development of teachers, he co-founded YOUTeacH Philippines - Negros Island in 2016 and is now active in creating programs and activities that enable young teachers to be equipped with essential tools and skills in bringing quality instruction into their classroom. A Google Certified Educator, Innovator (VIA21), & Trainer, he further enriches the organization’s goal by crafting and implementing online “playshops” on the mindful utilization and integration of education technology, digital citizenship, and applied digital skills for both teachers and students.
He loves to engage in topics on youth empowerment, developmental work, culture and heritage conservation, design thinking, and everything edtech!
