Deepti has been an educator, having worked in schools in India and the UK. Winner of the Microsoft Innovative Teachers’ Leadership Award, she represented India at Seoul in 2005. She completed her Certificate of Educational Studies from The College of Teachers, Institute of Education, London, UK and has trained in Teaching Languages through Technology from Trinity College, UK with a Distinction Grade in her ICT project from Consultant-E, Spain. She was the Leader for ICT at the British School for six years and has been a teacher educator for Technology Integration for the last 20 years now. Before setting up Mahattattva, she worked as Head, of ICT Initiatives, Learn Today, Learning Division of the India Today Group where she was responsible for providing consultations to schools on technology integration, she spearheaded technology initiatives in all the projects that Learn Today undertook and also conducted teacher development programmes in technology integration (India and Bhutan). She also wrote the technology curriculum for the teacher resource book for The Royal Academy, Bhutan. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Educational Technology and working with Google India on NCERT projects for teacher training. In March 2019, she was awarded the BETT Asia Leadership Award in Kuala Lumpur for her work on the ‘Design Thinking for Social Change’ project. This project is globally recognised and has been made into a case study by UPenn, US.

She is the official trainer for the Finnish Diploma-‘Teacher as an Innovator’ delivered in India by Mahattattva and OEP, Espoo, Finland. She is also HGSE (Harvard Graduate School of Education) certified for QFT (Question Formulation Technique). She recently completed her certification in Educational Leadership from IIM, Calcutta. And subsequently, she has led the Design Thinking Module for the school leaders undergoing the programme at IIM, Calcutta
