Alfina Jackson is primary teacher with over 18 years of experience in classroom, leadership and support roles in primary schools and undergraduate tertiary education. She is a Google Certified Innovator (SYD14) and is passionate about meaningful technology integration and digital literacy skills in the early years of K-2 to set them up for beyond. In 2016, Alfina was named one of the Top 100 Educators Leading Flipped Learning Worldwide, in 2017 she was named one of the Top 40 Flipped Learning Administrators and Coaches Worldwide, and in 2018 one of the Top 50 Flipped Learning Administrators and Coaches Worldwide. She has led technology integration using mobile technologies and Chromebooks across several schools. Alfina holds a Bachelor of Education (Primary), Cert IV (Networking), Graduate Certificate of ICT in Education (Microsoft Specialisation), Masters of Theological Studies and Cert II Auslan. She is currently completing a Masters of Disability Studies (Deaf Hard of Hearing). Alfina has presented workshops and keynotes at a local and international level, focusing on ways to build key digital literacy skills in K-2 students and across multiple platforms.
