The COVID-19 pandemic has forced many people to work from home and it might even become a norm in the future. There’s a lot of talk on how parents are supposed to manage their children along with work. But the voice of kids is lost in this noise, we have to understand how they are impacted in the short term and how we are going to deal with it if more people start working from home on a regular basis. The work will start intruding into the personal space between parents and kids. The kids are already finding it difficult to talk to their parents and seek help. The new methods of blended learning and flipped classrooms have to be implemented considering almost no support from the parent side. It is important for educators to deal with it and provide a supportive environment for students to ask questions and self-learn in new ways. Parents may not be available to help in the homework or home assignments.
