If you ask teachers, young or seasoned, they will state (eventually) that there are two big challenges in education -time and money. During the last 5 years, as education has shifted from paper teacher focused environment to more of a digital environment, many educators (regardless of experience) are struggling with finding time to do all the needed things. Teachers and administrators are being tasked to improve tech skills, improve their teaching practice, increase their content and instructional practices usage, use data to inform instruction, learn new software programs and curricula, attend meetings, while still doing lesson plans, prepping, grades, keep a positive attitude and growth-mindset, build relationships and balance family life. These time “crunchers” are impeding on relationships, in and out of schools, and are leading to major teacher shortages.
