In Malaysia, we have a big disparity in education between the international school market, which is growing ever bigger, and the public school system. In international schools we are lucky to have access to a great deal of technology, including computer suites, interactive whiteboards, Chromebooks and of course having many of schools running with G Suite for Education. However in local schools here, they often have limited access to computers or other devices within the classroom. This is further compounded by the lack of access at home as well. It is my belief that this lack of access to technology not only limits their education in the here and now, but also could have a great impact of their future opportunities- especially as the predicted job market will rely heavily on technological skills.
