My district is a Professional Learning Community, and data-informed instruction is vital. Teachers use data to inform their instruction on a daily basis, but usually rely on stacks of papers to see student progress. When the year is over, those papers get recycled, and only a number remains in a computer program to represent an entire year's growth. Students are more than a number, and teachers deserve a way to collect and analyze data to form a complete picture of a student in a streamlined way in order to plan instruction effectively.
