My challenge is ensuring SEND students with diverse needs receive adequate support to progress and reach their full potential. Here's why it matters: Equity and Inclusion: All children deserve the opportunity to succeed in school, regardless of their learning styles or needs. Without proper support, SEND students can become discouraged and fall further behind, hindering their academic and social development. Untapped Potential: SEND students often possess unique strengths and talents that go unrecognized or underdeveloped due to a lack of individual support. Long-Term Impact: A lack of foundational skills and sense of accomplishment in school can have a lasting negative impact on a child's self-esteem, future opportunities, and overall well-being. The lack of resources, particularly adult support, makes it incredibly difficult to meet the diverse needs of SEND students in my classroom. With limited personnel, it becomes nearly impossible to provide the individualized attention and differentiated instruction necessary for them to thrive.
