Challenge
My challenge has to do with lesson plans. My colleagues have expressed enormous difficulties keeping up-to-date with their "paperwork" regarding lesson plans and curriculum. Teachers have enough challenges as is and trying to make their load lighter can do nothing except benefit the process as a whole. If you're a good teacher you know your material through and through; planning shouldn't have to reflect on your knowledge on the subject but on the methodology you use. Planning shouldn't be a burden. On the administrative side, following up on planning and curriculum should be simpler. Walkthroughs and observations should work seamlessly with a proper planning structure. I really want to decrease the amount of headaches generated by this type of thing in my school (and hopefully others!)
