One of my greatest challenges, since I teach Computer Skills to students in grades K-8, is finding resources that work for multiple grade levels, ESPECIALLY younger students. Often, I find a resource that *says* it's for kids, but uses vocabulary that is way above my littles' lexile level, and difficult for them to process. For example, when looking for biographical information about famous people online, my first and second graders are frequently frustrated with the walls of text and words they can not understand. I want to teach even my youngest students how to find the information they need online, but there are very few resources that are accessible to them.
