I am deeply passionate about education and dedicated to serving as an educator. I firmly believe that teaching and learning should be joyful experiences, not arduous tasks. As an Instructional Technology Specialist, my mission is to empower teachers to innovate their instruction, making it more effective and enjoyable, while equipping students with vital skills for their future success. In my pursuit of this mission, I frequently encounter the challenge of traditional mindsets that prioritize direct instruction and teacher-centered learning. Despite advancements in technology and access to vast educational resources, many educational practices remain stagnant and ineffective. This is compounded by the diverse needs of learners, placing excessive demands on teachers who are often viewed as the sole solution to closing achievement gaps. I am committed to driving change in this area. My goal is to reignite the passion and joy in teaching for educators and to help them leverage technology to work more efficiently and effectively. I believe that by embracing innovative teaching methods and focusing on student-centered learning, we can better prepare students for the challenges of the future workforce.
