Challenge

Preparing Instructional Leaders to integrate technology that will provide equity among faculty and students, that will enhance meaningful learning. To guide Instructional Leaders with becoming empowered through their professional development. This will help those instructional leaders who lack deficiencies with education technology, whether it is lack of education technology experience, or due to the fact that they have been so far removed from the classroom that reaching their teachers becomes a challenge. Lack of time and having many roles becomes a challenge for instructional leaders to even want to become innovative with their roles. This normally leads to an environment where there isn't much creativity, which impacts teacher skills and student learning. It is a need for our instructional leaders to become visionary planners and connected learners that model and promote effective technology practices that impact teacher collaboration and student achievement.
