The biggest challenge that I am currently experiencing in education is to get students to be more creative and innovative both in solving their own (and others) learning challenges. My students are too dependent on my ideas on how to learn certain scientific topics / fields efficiently. I do believe that in this time and age, the responsibility to think of innovative ways of learning has got to be carried by both teachers and students. I find that it is a colossal challenge to get students to be more involved in shaping the teaching and learning process for their own benefits.
