Challenge
Engaging the community through G-Suite (Google sites for sharing student work). Specifically, giving the parent community the power to engage with their child and their work, create meaningful discussion around the learning. It seems like a no-brainer and plain common sense thinking, but studies concurred that parent involvement in their child's education has a direct effect on their success rate. However, parents in my school community want to out-source the "homework" while continuing to have an old school view of what their involvement actually is. We have given our parents a tool (Google Sites) to see inside their child's learning life, but we have had minimal buy-in from parents at a meaningful level. This is the challenge I am currently facing.
