TeachersPD was created to help teachers apply pedagogical practices that help to foster 21st century skills and transform students into lifelong learners. The site has over 60 hours of online professional development which all involve application, reflection and sharing. The site utilises a membership system to help foster collaboration and collegiality between teachers. TeachersPD also provides face-to-face workshops as this is still the method most asked for by teachers, but each workshop comes with further support provided through online forums and our Facebook group "TeachersPD". TeachersPD has also released a podcast called "Effective Teaching" focusing on teaching strategies that help create lifelong learners in your classroom. The episodes are short to ensure they do not take much time but still provide you with tips for your classroom.
