MidiaMakers (Portuguese spelling) is a media, design and technology hub for educators, providing inspiration and instruction on media literacy and media making, focusing on the opportunities and challenges of the digital era. MídiaMakers is an open-access hub. We want to create a community discussion around the topic of media literacy in schools, bringing journalists and educators together in a multidisciplinary approach to the problem. We also publish resources such as tutorials, toolkits and in-depth white papers. Educators are encouraged to use our resources and participate in our online communities, where we will keep a steady flow of information on the topic and promote occasional in-person workshops.
