In support of the Curriculum Equity Initiative at Chicago Public Schools, I launched the Trailblazer Program. This series of three in person workshops backed with online resources served as the beta test of how to best help my teachers become digitally ready to utilize a fully digital curriculum. The goal is to move beyond mere substitution, which is the pitfall of the initial switch from a traditional paper-based curriculum, into something that is more active and transformative. The goal is to redefine the classroom and instruction.
