The EDUGuest Directory is a platform that schools can utilize to organize and track the various individuals from outside of the school (EDUGuests) who support teachers and students in and out of the classroom. Examples of supporting individuals include: guest speakers, artists in residence, activist in residence, story tellers, performers, alumni and external coaches. These individuals are usually identified due to a personal or professional relationship with a member of the school community. Often the individuals contributions are not known to the entire school staff and the connection to the school is often lost when the key member of the school community leaves the school. The primary goal of the directory is to provide a place where information about these individuals can be recorded for the benefit of all staff and especially new staff. Information about area(s) of expertise, contact information, availability as well as reviews & comments from teachers will also be available for viewing.
