This is a Teachers' Guide to Getting More from Google Sites. Google Sites are very easy to use and can quickly produce effective and purposeful websites with a clean functional appearance. However, the downside of using them to create teaching and learning resources is that sites could look a bit ‘samey’. Additionally, the inclusion of interactive elements on the pages could make the sites more engaging for learners. My guide aims to provide a quick and easy guide/reference for teachers to take their Google Sites to the next level and thereby create better learning resources. As well as clear descriptions, examples and demonstration YouTube videos, I have created interactive pages where teachers can experiment with their code and test the output before adding to their Google Site.
