In a world where legislation is finding it difficult to keep up to date with advances in technology, we are relying on the moral compass of the creators to look out for the best interests of others, not just getting the ‘next best thing’ out into the market. There is a need to grow empathy and compassion alongside a changing digital curriculum. Now more than ever our children are growing up in a society where anyone and everyone can have a voice but I am passionate about how we can grow our awareness and understanding for other’s voice and their own. The challenge I am currently experiencing is; how are we promoting the ability for our learners to grow up in a digital world with good ethics, kindness, compassion, empathy, human connection and values?
