Challenge
There are various amounts of data in education and it could be used more wisely to inform decisions and support that impact student outcomes. The challenge is that decisions need to be more intelligent from the vast amount of data that is available all schools with the reduced funding. Data and Edtech needs to be smarter and innovative to help inform key decision makers but also allowing teachers and leaders to be proactive in the classroom. The biggest challenge is ensuring that finance, curriculum, intervention and wellbeing of students/staff are not only fit for purpose but take into account external pressures. By being able to better inform these decisions at a policy level or in within the classroom this could lead to better outcomes and opportunities for all students and staff. This is an exciting opportunity to use new technology to enhance education and becoming AI/ML ready.
