Challenge

Student voice is an invaluable measure of how we are performing as educators. The ability to adapt our approach based upon feedback is fundamental to providing the very best learning experience for our pupils. Capturing and analysing data from students allows us to react to their needs and ensure optimum outcomes for all. But how best can we capture and process student feedback? We currently ask students to complete forms twice a year to reflect on their experience in lessons and then spend a significant amount of time and money inputting their responses to a spreadsheet and then extracting meaningful data for senior leaders and heads of department. There has to be a more powerful, scalable and customisable way of processing such valuable data. Are we asking the correct questions and sharing with the most appropriate stakeholders? Such potentially transformative feedback needs to be properly managed to ensure optimum benefit.
