www.itsyourphd.com is hoping to solve three things: 1) unengaged PD 2) undifferentiated PD 3)HMW model learning for our students. The project will include a website and a framework that will guide the user to obtain micro credentials on their way to their own designed pHd program. The first step is to do 5 cycles of publishing through the ACT process (Acquire knowledge; Create content; Tell your story). Once completed, they can repeat the process again or go for a higher level of completion. If they go through the 100 cycle process and publish 100 pieces of content (blog, vlog, music, podcast, other audio pieces) they will have earned their own "phd".
