Every year new students, 5-7 year old, come to their first class and receive a new digital device (Chromebooks), for which they need a username and password to login. These credentials are not immediately available to the teacher responsible for their first contact with their digital device. Instead each teacher, or some local school admin has to set new passwords for each individual student, one by one, or spend time reaching out to the IT department and ask them to do it for a number of students at once, and wait for them to do so and also notify the correct person with the newly created information. This is both cumbersome and a waste of time for all parties.
