Many librarians around the world do not feel that they are experts in these areas when the library should be the heart of the school & support research throughout teaching and learning. The project was initiated to bridge the gap for librarians who were not trained/comfortable in teaching research skills to high school students. These are very important topics for school librarians to be comfortable with first & then experts in. While not all of the resources are Google Focused, it is a main tool in the work undertaken. The Coursera copyright for Librarians course was also instrumental as we used it to kick off the project and set the stage in terms of focus and need for the remainder of the course. Reflection and discussion in feedback sessions are instrumental and should be done on a weekly basis when working through the units.
