This project aims to close the technology gap for English language learners. Available to ESOL teachers in PGCPS who have little-to-no access to technology to use with their ELLs, teachers in this program receive a set of 10 Chromebooks for their ELLs, and commit to a three year training program in which they participate in a variety of workshops, PLC meetings, conferences and more. Teachers also complete educator level 1&2 and trainer essentials exams. By the end of the training program, they are ready (and encouraged) to become Google Trainers and continue to share their knowledge with colleagues.
