Inspired by the Advent Calendar, I designed a virtual binder that revealed daily gifts teachers could use for instruction or in their own professional learning. In addition to introducing a tool, I curated a variety of resources to support users. This model of professional development allowed me to reach teachers on their own time when the normal demands of the classroom weren't the priority. In the future, my goal is to have colleagues take a day of the calendar and create a "spark" for their peers rather than have all the content come from leadership.
